PSS is looking for a qualified technology focused Trader. This is a hybrid position which will allow candidates the ability to leverage their trading experience to support various portions of the desk. By collecting and analyzing data, this associate will be responsible with turning data into action with the purpose of developing, managing and enhancing tools to assist and automate trading. Additionally, this candidate will provide support to national sales teams and work within numerous electronic platforms. This role will provide candidates the opportunity to identify and implement process improvements impacting a highly productive group. Strong communication skills are desired, however technology knowledge is paramount.

 

 

Skills and experience:

 

2 or more years of Trading experience is preferred but not required

Ability to analyze trading and market data and put findings into trading practices

Experience working in Bloomberg is preferred but not required

Experience with Java, C++, and/or Python

Very strong Excel skills required, additional database platform knowledge desired

Respond to direct customer inquiries on the phone or through e-mail

Provide technical support/problem resolution to Registered Investment Advisors in a timely, professional, and courteous manner

HR Reporting Analyst (HRIS Analyst)

Use existing HR systems to develop and deliver ad hoc, recurring, and on-demand / self-service reports.

Address reporting needs for all of HR, including Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Workforce Planning, Training & Development, Employee Engagement, Payroll and Benefits, and Regulatory / Compliance.

Perform peer review team mate development work and perform recurring quality control data validation as needed

Sr Manager Data Engineering

Assisting team members in interpreting scope, estimating impact/work and approving the estimates for distribution;

Managing team assignments by assessing subject area knowledge, individual capacity, and project demands;
