Analyst / Compliance

Our division prevents, detects and mitigates compliance, regulatory and reputational risk across the firm and helps to strengthen the firm’s culture of compliance. Compliance accomplishes these through the firm’s enterprise-wide compliance risk management program. As an independent control function and part of the firm’s second line of defense, Compliance assesses the firm’s compliance, regulatory and reputational risk; monitors for compliance with new or amended laws, rules and regulations; designs and implements controls, policies, procedures and training; conducts independent testing; investigates, surveils and monitors for compliance risks and breaches; and leads the firm’s responses to regulatory examinations, audits and inquiries. You’ll be part of a team with members from a wide range of academic and professional backgrounds, such as law, accounting, sales, and trading. Global Compliance Testing Senior Manager

Draft testing scopes that include applicable regulatory requirements and adhere to established compliance testing policies & procedures;

Conduct compliance testing to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls for compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and corporate policy;

Complete assigned testing in accordance with the annual testing plan and adequately document the evaluation of the effectiveness of the internal controls;

Confirm that compliance issues identified during testing are followed-up on, and corrective action plans are properly executed to mitigate or remediate risk;

Socialize and report testing results while working to ensure timely completion, including the validation of all corrective actions;

Maintain a strong working knowledge of rules, regulations, and regulatory guidance impactful to the Firm’s holding company, affiliate legal entities, and business activities;

Perform other duties and special projects, as may be assigned.

 

 

Skills and experience:

 

5 years of experience in a Regulatory Testing/Examiner/Audit role

Partner with the WFS business in developing marketing programs to support key business objectives.

Manage social media program, creating, coordinating and implementing content to be used in multiple social channels, with a concentration on LinkedIn
