Senior Manager / Manager – Liquidity Risk Oversight

Provide independent analysis and effective challenge of liquidity stress testing assumptions, methodologies, and processes

Support the ongoing maintenance and change management of liquidity stress testing models and assumptions

Source internal data and conduct statistical analysis in support of liquidity monitoring activities by the “second line of defense” including risk limit and early warning indicators levels

Calculate, monitor, and report liquidity risk metrics in accordance with the firm’s risk appetite

Support the upgrade and further build out of the liquidity risk reporting structure

Conduct gap analyses of liquidity risk management practices against supervisory guidance

Aid in the preparation of presentation materials for the Board and senior management risk committees

This is an individual contributor role reporting into the Managing Director of Liquidity Risk Oversight.

 

 

Skills and experience:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or business related field

3+ years of liquidity risk management experience (Treasury, Risk Management, Regulatory Agency, Consulting)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact cross-functionally

Strong process orientation and analytical skills

Self-motivated, able to multi-task, perform under strict deadlines, and able to develop new processes

The following qualifications are preferred:

A Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or other related field

CFA or other related certification

Director, Operational Risk Management Liaison Team

Oversee the operational risk data provided by multiple business units for use in risk identifying, assessing and monitoring operational risk activities.

Oversee the escalation of operational risk issues in accordance with the Corporate Risk Management Policy.

Oversee and challenge the design, implementation, and maintenance of businesses’ processes and controls to manage operational risk

Partner with the First Line Risk Management Office and other 2nd Lines of Defense groups to achieve continuous improvement in the execution of risk management activities at the Firm

Provide advice and guidance to BU leaders regarding the Operational Risk discipline to influence the BU’s engagement and response to risk related activities

Collaborate and coordinate across the Corporate Operational Risk Team and other Liaisons to achieve alignment of activities and continuous improvement.

 

 

Skills and experience:

 

8+ years of experience in risk management, governance, or similar role; with 2 years in Director Role or similar level of responsibility and decision making

Risk management principles, methodologies and tools, and governance principles and activity in a financial services environment

Managerial courage, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced changing and ambiguous environment is essential to success in this role

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

Experience influencing leaders from Director up to EVP

Experience within a financial services environment, and a firm understanding of how risks in these areas manifest themselves

A firm grasp on operational risk data management and analysis, in particular, the ability to incorporate and understand mass information from a variety of sources to recommend a course of action.

The Operations Associate will utilize various applications for processing ETF related activities through broker/dealers.  They will work on a geographically dispersed team with daily responsibilities including: pricing assets, clearing trade exceptions, and completing daily trading/dividend processes on behalf of our clients.  They will also process corporate actions, and other various operations duties as required.

The Investment Writer/Communications Manager will focus on writing and editing the Management Discussion of Fund Performance (MDFP) and President’s Letter content for shareholder reports, and other regulatory or shareholder communications for the PSS Funds and PSS ETFs.

Create content using independent research, attribution reports, Portfolio Manager responses and other data analytics

Tailor and refine messaging in President’s Letter content, develop and maintain appropriate executive level voice and tone

Conduct research and analyze raw performance and attribution data to identify trends, and accurately convey fund performance and market conditions

Facilitate final review meetings with senior management, ensuring all questions and comments are fully addressed prior to publishing, and maintain archives of source materials

Manage relationships with external writing vendors, providing oversight and direction

Identify and implement enhancements to content model, as well as the overall writing and review process, on an ongoing basis

Provide writing and editing support to Product Management for non-regulatory product-related communications, and other investment- or product-related materials, as needed

Cross-train on other team functions. Responsibilities will vary based on department need and priorities.

 

 

Skills and experience:

 

At least 5 years of professional writing experience in the financial services industry; expertise as an investment writer managing mutual fund commentaries for domestic and international products, or as a research analyst covering such products preferred
